In recent years, the practice of collecting and selling or, intentional/unintentional disclosing and disseminating personal information is a well discussed and argued matter on many mainstream platforms and social media. As many organizations and individuals have conducted or been involved in the act of illegally purchasing, selling, and utilizing online personal information (in the form of personal data), one may argue that there is a need to tighten the regulations regarding the practice of sharing personal data. On another hand, there are bold recommendations from governmental authorities about approving/allowing the practice of “charging a service fee for supplying and sharing residential data”.

In order to overcome problems and shortcomings in regulations of the Law on Construction 2014, on June 17, 2020, the Law providing amendments and supplements to some articles of the Law on Construction (Construction Law 2020 (amended)) passed by the National Assembly with many new regulations on reform and simplification of administrative procedures, especially in the field of construction permit.

On June 16, 2020, the National Assembly passed the Law on Court-annexed mediation and dialogue (Law on CAMD) which shall officially come into effect on January 1, 2021. Law on CAMD is established to provide individuals and organizations an additional option for dispute resolution method and expected to minimize the case backlog pressure for the Court.

In June 2020, the National Assembly approved the Draft of Law on Enterprises (LoE) 2020 in re-placement of LoE 2014.
