The Law on Capital (amended) is of great significance, aiming to use the tools for planning socio-economic development, urban planning of the city and other tools. The Law on Capital (amended) determines the position and role of the capital as the national political and administrative center; the headquarters of the central agencies of the Party, the State and socio-political organizations; diplomatic representative agencies; international organizations; a centrally-governed city; a special-class urban area; a major center of economics, culture, education and training, science and technology, and international integration of the whole country. Determining the position and role of the capital will be an extremely important basis for building the capital. The National Assembly’s approval of the Law on Capital (amended) is a great joy for the government and people of Ha Noi, because when approved, the Law on Capital (amended) will help concretize the vision and strategy of two major plans: the Ha Noi capital planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and the adjustment of the Ha Noi capital master plan to 2045, with a vision to 2065. The close relationship between the two major plans mentioned above and the Law on Capital (amended) aims to realize Ha Noi’s development goals in the coming years.
