Currently, the Ministry of Public Security is leading the drafting of a Decree on administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of cybersecurity and personal data protection. The Draft Decree has been developed amid increasing cybersecurity risks, incidents, attacks, and personal data infringements in Viet Nam. This article provides highlights of the Draft Decree that may be of interest to organizations and individuals.

On March 31, 2026, the Government issued Decree 96/2026/ND-CP providing details and guidelines for the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Investment, effective from the date of issuance, replacing Decree 31/2021/ND-CP.
