At NHQuang&Associates, we deeply value the energy, curiosity, and ambition of students and young professionals. Having once walked the same path, we are committed to supporting the next generation in terms of legal minds and building a professional, ethical, and socially responsible legal community.
Internship Program at NHQuang&Associates
Since 2004, NHQuang&Associates has welcomed both Vietnamese and international students majoring in law, foreign languages, and other relevant areas to intern with us. Such internship offers valuable opportunities to those students for knowledge exchange, skills development, and real-world legal experience.
Our lawyers and staff are always eager to share their insights, guiding interns through practical work, internal training sessions, and professional development. Interns are fully integrated into our team, participating in workshops and receiving hands-on mentoring like any full-time member.
Over the past 20 years, more than 200 students have completed internships at our office. Vietnamese interns come from such lawteaching institutions as Ha Noi Law University, Vietnam National University Ha Noi, Foreign Trade University, Diplomatic Academy, Ha Noi Open University, National Economics University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, and University of Economics and Law – Ho Chi Minh City National University, etc. or language schools such as Ha Noi University of Science and Technology, Ha Noi University, University of Foreign Languages – Vietnam National University Ha Noi, etc.
Moreover, we have also hosted international interns from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, and more—via academic exchanges and international cooperation programs.
Several domestic and global student support programs/organizations regularly contact and send their students for internship at NHQuang&Associates as well.
Many former interns have gone on to become successful legal professionals in Viet Nam and around the world. Some have even returned to join NHQuang&Associates as permanent team members.
Contributing to Legal Education
In addition to hosting interns and young legal practitioners, the lawyers at NHQuang&Associates actively participate in legal training and education across Viet Nam. We regularly share our knowledge and practical experience at leading institutions such as Ha Noi Law University, Vin University, British University Vietnam, Foreign Trade University, Viet Nam Diplomatic Academy, Judicial Academy, Faculty of Law – National Economics University. Through these teaching activities, we aim to equip students with real-world legal insights and help them make informed decisions about their studies and future careers.
GES Scholarship Fund
To support the growth and development of law students in Viet Nam, the Globalized Era Scholarship Fund (GES) was launched in 2010 with the support of various lawyers and legal organizations, both domestic and international—including NHQuang&Associates.
The GES Scholarship creates opportunities for outstanding students to meet, learn from, and be mentored by experienced legal professionals. Initially focused on top law students in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, the program uses a multi-round selection process to identify candidates who are dynamic, creative, ethically grounded, and fluent in foreign languages.
Each year, NHQuang&Associates proudly sponsors one scholarship recipient. By 2025, a total of 15 students have received GES scholarships through our sponsorship.
Supporting Legal Competitions
Mr. Nguyen Hung Quang, Founding and Managing Partner of NHQuang&Associates, is one of the initiators of the Vietnam Mediation Moot (V-MED), a national competition launched in 2022 to promote mediation skills among law students.
Since its inception, V-MED has become one of the most prestigious and widely attended legal competitions in Viet Nam. It helps students develop critical thinking, legal analysis, and dispute resolution skills through the lens of mediation—emphasizing fairness, collaboration, and humanity in handling conflicts. NHQuang&Associates is proud to be the main sponsor of V-MEDfor years, with our lawyers, who are also certified mediators, serving as judges and mentors throughout the competitions.
In addition to V-MED, we also sponsor and provide judges for the National Qualifying Round of the Foreign Direct Investment Moot (FDI Moot), a globally recognized competition focusing on resolving hypothetical disputes between investors and states.
Beyond these two flagship events, NHQuang&Associates supports and judges a number of competitions for law students nationwide, reflecting our deep commitment to education, professional development, and the future of the legal profession.
