International Conference on the Court Annexed Mediation Project

On April 12, 2019, the Supreme People’s Court held an International Conference on the Court Annexed Mediation Project.

Mr. Nguyen Hung Quang, Managing Partner of NHQuang&Associates, and also the president of Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center (VICMC) were invited to comment on the Draft Law. Mr. Quang’s presentation focused on issues of ensuring fairness between mediation models outside the Court and at the Court, organizational model of mediation centers at the Court, operational mechanism, freedom of choice of mediators, mediation center, independence of mediators and mediation mechanism, etc.
