On the morning of 17 August 2018, the Council Consultancy on Administrative Reform published Report of Administrative Procedures Compliance Cost Index in 2018 (Report of APCI 2018). As a member of the expert group of the Council Consultancy on Administrative Reform, Mr. Nguyen Hung Quang and his colleagues participated in the study and survey of enterprises to carry out administrative procedures and intensive analysis to make assessments, comments and recommendations for the reform of administrativeprocedures in the future.
With the focus of 08 groups of administrative procedures in the fields that have a great impact on the business activities of enterprises across the country, including i) Starting a Business/Business Registration; ii) Tax; iii) Investment; iv) Practicing Certificates and Licenses; v) Customs; vi) Land; vii) Environment and viii) Construction. The Report of APCI 2018 marks the current two-year management of the current Government with a determination to improve the business environment in order to enhance Viet Nam’s position in the international arena as well as promote domestic investment and attract more foreign investment. The Report of APCI 2018 is considered as the basic data for assessing the effectiveness of reform efforts in each of the group of administrative procedures and in regions and localities in the following years. This is also considered as a direction for Central State agencies to continue implementing administrative procedures controls and reducing the burden compliance cost index for businesses.
