In recent years, the practice of acquiring and selling or, intentional/unintentional disclosing and spreading personal information has been well discussed on many mainstream platforms and social media. In this article, NHQuang will analyze certain aspects of the practice of acquiring, exploiting, and utilizing personal data in Viet Nam, and provide recommendations to improve these practices in the Industry 4.0 Era. The extended version of this article has been simultaneously included in the Publication “the Reference” by the National Assembly Library under the title of “Discussion on the acquisition, exploitation and utilization of personal data in Viet Nam current context”.
