Scientific workshop “Perfecting the legal system in the fields of culture, education, and health to meet the requirements of national development in the new era”

Within the framework of implementing the project “Strategy for perfecting the Vietnamese legal system in the new era”, on July 14, 2026, the Institute of Strategy and Legal Sciences, Ministry of Justice, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Perfecting the legal system in the fields of culture, education, and health to meet the requirements of national development in the new era”. At the request of the Institute, Mr. Nguyen Hung Quang, Founding Member and Managing Partner of NHQuang&Associates, presented a paper entitled “Perfecting the legal system for developing a cultural industry ecosystem with Vietnamese identity“, analyzing the policies of the Party and State regarding the development of a legal system for the cultural industry ecosystem with Vietnamese identity. Mr. Quang also shared some experiences in developing cultural industries in countries such as Japan, South Korea, and China, and offered some recommendations for perfecting the legal regulations related to the development of the cultural industry in Viet Nam.

The workshop served as a forum for exchanging and evaluating the current state of the legal system in three areas that directly impact human quality, and proposing directions and solutions for improving the legal framework for the period 2026–2030, with a vision to 2045. The workshop was chaired by Dr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Director of the Institute of Strategy and Legal Sciences, Ministry of Justice, and attended by experts, scientists, ministries, agencies, research institutions, and training organizations.

Mr. Nguyen Hung Quang and the lawyers of NHQuang&Associates participated in research activities on improving the legal system of the Institute of Strategy and Legal Sciences, as well as assisting several localities in developing policies and legal regulations on the development of the cultural industry.
