Seminar “Workforce Restructuring: From Business Decisions to Compliance, People and Culture”

On September 23, 2026, at the seminar “Workforce Restructuring: From Business Decisions to Compliance, People and Culture” organized by the Human Resources Association (HRA), Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Huyen, Partner of NHQuang&Associates, joined the event as one of the speakers.

In her presentation, “Practical Legal Insights – Case Law, Common Pitfalls & Defensive Documentation: Leadership Choices and Compliance”, Ms. Huyen examined three legal approaches to workforce restructuring: (i) employee reassignment and work arrangement; (ii) redesigning jobs and organizational structures based on mutual agreement; and (iii) organizational restructuring and workforce reorganization, including workforce reduction.

Drawing on illustrative court cases, compliance considerations and defensive documentation, the presentation provided practical perspectives on selecting appropriate legal approaches, establishing proper procedures and maintaining the necessary documentation to mitigate dispute risks throughout the restructuring process.
