VBLC Energy Group (VEG) launch event

On October 2, 2026, the Vietnam Business Lawyers Club (VBLC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Center for Energy Information and Electricity Market Development (EAVCED), under the Electricity Authority of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and officially launched the VBLC Energy Group (VEG).

VEG aims to connect lawyers with experts, businesses, investors and regulatory authorities to promote research, professional exchange and contributions to policy and legal development in the energy sector. Through these activities, VEG seeks to strengthen legal capacity, support businesses and contribute to the sustainable development of the energy market.

During its first year, VEG is expected to organize training and legal updates on the electricity market and the Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) mechanism; develop legal and professional updates on energy-related matters; contribute comments on policies and implementing regulations on electricity; and develop practical guidance materials for businesses.

Mr. Nguyen Hung Quang – Founder and Managing Partner of NHQuang&Associates is appointed Deputy Head of the Interim Executive Committee of VEG. Also attending the event on behalf of NHQuang&Associates is Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh, Partner, who participated in the signing ceremony and related activities.
