The Law on Capital 2024 was recently passed by the 15th National Assembly at its 7th session. The Law on Capital (amended) comprises 7 Chapters and 54 Articles — an increase of 3 Chapters and 27 Articles compared to the Law on Capital 2012. The Law introduces a range of new policies and special mechanisms, along with strong decentralization and delegation of authority. These provisions are seen as new driving forces and opportunities for Ha Noi to mobilize resources and make breakthroughs in its development in the near future.
The enactment of the Law on Capital 2024 is not only significant news for the Ha Noi government and its citizens but also reflects national expectations for a dynamic and deserving capital in the future. For the Law to be effectively implemented and quickly put into practice, public communication of its provisions and the development of guiding sub-law documents are essential issues that need to be addressed.
Mr. Nguyen Hung Quang, Managing Partner of NHQuang&Associates, was one of two guest speakers in the seminar “Bringing the 2024 Capital Law to Life” broadcast on Hanoi Radio & Television.
