The amended Law on Enterprises will come into force from 1/7/2015. The Drafting Committee is now rushing for formulating decrees guiding this law. However, at the commenting seminar for the draft decree held on 13/5, participating enterprises and relevant experts were still about seal-related issues.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Nguyen Tien Lap, senior partner of NHQuang&Associates (Ha Noi) shared that the current public opinion is focusing on whether enterprises must have seals in the coming time. As for him, no seal for enterprises may lead to several other complicated results, such as the need for notarising signatures or taking business licences for carrying out transactions. The amended law has not yet specified this issue; thus, it is requested to have clear provision on whether enterprises should have a seal, and if not, one or more than one seal?
