Where justice comes from?

(…) At the beginning of a new year when we are awaiting for execution of the amended Criminal Procedure Code, as legal expert, I just want to convey a thinking that if each of us, at the capacity of an investigator, a prosecutor, a judge, or even a normal person, preserve and maintain our compassion, awake it and raise the voice timely as soon as we are empowered to decide any one’s destiny. Or else, all acts and regulations shall only be fine letters on papers. Then we have all understood where justice comes from.

From the article of Mr. Nguyen Tien Lap, senior partner, on Sai Gon Times on 01/01/2016
