In the first two weeks of October, a series of documents issued include Decree No. 85/2015/ND-CP providing details for some articles of the Labour Code on policies for female employees, Decree No. 88/2015/ND-CP providing amendment and supplementation to some articles of Decree No. 95/2013/ND-CP dated 22/08/2013 of the Government, Decree No. 83/2015/ND-CP  dated 25/09/2015, Circular No. 15/2015/TT-NHNN dated 02/10/2015 of the State Bank of Vietnam providing guidelines for foreign currency transactions on foreign currency market of credit institutions permitted to conduct foreign exchange activities.

In Policy Brief of this Legal Newsletter 39-40/2015, NHQuang&Associates will continue with the Study for commenting the Draft Civil Procedure Code for improving business environment under Resolution 19 of the Government.

 

Legal newsletter No. 37-38/2015

Besides summary of new legal documents, in this Policy Brief, NHQuang&Associates introduces our Study for Commenting the Draft Civil Procedure Code for improving business environment under Resolution 19 of the Government, which was conducted by Nguyen Hung Quang, the managing partner. In the Policy Brief this week, we shall continue with Section II of “Compensation for civil damage” which deals with the exemption of liability in damage compensation and some new points relating to damage compensation in the Draft of the amended Civil Code.

 

Legal newsletter No. 33-34/2015

Compensation for damages is an important institution in common civil transaction and in business transaction in particular. As the original code stipulating damage compensation, the Civil Code has been amended and the Draft of the amended Civil Code was been recently submitted to the National Assembly Standing Committee at its 40th Session, Legislature XIIIth, in August 2015. This Draft contains certain changes in relation to the institution of damage compensation. In this volume, Mr. Phung Quang Cuong will provide some analysis in relation to this insitution in the applicable Civil Code (2005) and the Draft Civil Code (the Draft of the Amended Civil Code).

Legal Newsletter No. 31-32/2015

The Law on Enterprises No. 68/2014/QH13 was approved by the National Assembly Legislature XIII on 26 November 2014  and came into effect from 01 July 2015 with 10 Chapters, 213 Articles. Among the new contents of this law is regulation on Social enterprises. In the Policy Brief of this Newsletter 31-32/2015, our lawyer will provide some analyses about regulations on social enterprises provided in the Draft Decree guiding the Law on Enterprises 2014.
