On November 6, 2024, the Minister of Finance issued Circular 76/2024/TT-BTC guiding the information disclosure and report on offering and trading privately-placed corporate bonds in the domestic market and offering corporate bonds to the international market. This Circular replaces Circular 122/2020/TT-BTC guiding the information disclosure and report according to Decree 153/2020/ND-CP and takes effect from December 25, 2024.

Some new regulations on information disclosure and report on corporate bond offering and trading are presented by Le Hai Linh.

The implementation of Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection has revealed a need for a specialized law on personal data protection to ensure consistency with domestic laws as well as compatibility with international laws and practices. To meet these requirements, the Ministry of Public Security has developed a Proposal for a Law on Personal Data Protection.

Notable contents in the Draft Law on Personal Data Protection are presented by Tu Thi Phuong Uyen.

The Law on Health Insurance 2008 is s significant important step forward in the legal system on health insurance, which is a mechanism to ensure financial resources for people’s medical examination and treatment needs, contributing to social security and international integration. However, the 15-year implementation of the Law on Health Insurance 2008 has shown certain obstacles, inadequacies, and limitations that must be addressed. In order to perfect the regulations on health insurance in accordance with the Party’s policies and orientations, in line with the practice and the compatibility with the health insurance laws of other countries, the Ministry of Health is drafting a Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Health Insurance.

Some new points in the Draft Law on Health insurance are presented by Le Mai Phuong.

After eight years after the promulgation of the Law on Real Estate Business 66/2014/QH13 (Law on Real Estate Business 2014), according to the implementation assessment summary in Submission Report 150/TTr-CP dated April 26, 2023 of the Government on the Project of the Law on Real Estate Business (amended), the implementation of this law still has many shortcomings, causing difficulties and hindering business activities, transactions in the real estate market. Realizing the urgency in completing the provisions of the Law on Real Estate Business 2014, in order to remove obstacles, and difficulties from the remaining shortcomings, on November 28, 2023, the National Assembly promulgated the Law on Real Estate Business 29/2023/QH15 (Law on Real Estate Bussiness 2023), effective from August 1, 2024.
