Legal Newsletter No. 02/2020

After nearly 7 years of implementation, the provisions of the Labor Code 2012 are assessed as being no longer suitable to economic and social conditions and improvement requirements in corporate human resource management in the context of the impact of the 41st technological revolution. Therefore, on November 20, 2019, the National Assembly officially passed Labor Code No. 45/2019/QH14 (Labor Code 2019) to replace the Labor Code 2012. This Labor Code 2019 will officially take effect on January 1, 2021.

The Comments in this volume are presented by Nguyen Thi Kim Chau and Vu Thi Dieu Thao.
